A trucker in Cleveland has been accused of stealing electricity from a house near where his truck was parked so that he could keep the load of cabbage he was hauling from going bad.

The Sun News of Cleveland reported that residents of the Parma Heights neighborhood complained to police about a truck that had been parked illegally overnight.

When police arrived, they found an extension cord running from a generator next to the truck to a garage nearby. The owner of the home told police he was unaware that his electricity was being used by the truck, according to The Sun News.

The trucker faces felony charges, including theft of utility service, breaking and entering, possession of criminal tools and resisting arrest.
