A trucker in Cleveland has been accused of stealing electricity
from a house near where his truck was parked so that he could keep the load of
cabbage he was hauling from going bad.
The Sun News of Cleveland reported that residents of
the Parma Heights neighborhood complained to police about a truck that had been
parked illegally overnight.
When police arrived, they found an extension cord running
from a generator next to the truck to a garage nearby. The owner of the home
told police he was unaware that his electricity was being used by the truck,
according to The Sun News.
