The California Air Resources Board has scheduled its first set of
public workshops to discuss developing a diesel particulate matter control
measure for private fleets of on-road, heavy-duty diesel-fueled trucks.
The first set of workshops will be April 5 in Sacramento, April 12 in El Monte, and April 13 in Fresno. The purpose of the workshops is to discuss reasons for
developing a control measure, a timeline and a process for its development.
A notice for the workshop is posted on CARB’s On-Road Trucks (In-Use)
Control Measure Web site at www.arb.ca.gov/msprog/onrdiesel/workshops.htm.
The workshop presentation will be posted prior to the workshop in Sacramento on April 5. For those unavailable to attend in person, a live Internet
broadcast of the April 5 workshop will be available at arb.ca.gov/app/calendar/cal_wbcst.php.
