Speedco celebration to benefit Make-A-Wish

| Friday, February 24, 2006

Speedco has added another entertainment event to the Mid-America Trucking Show – and this one benefits the Make-A-Wish Foundation.

“Tribute to the American Trucker” begins at 6 p.m., Thursday, March 23, in Freedom Hall at the Kentucky Fair and Exposition Center.

The tribute will feature the unveiling of the Speedco Chopper, built by Orange County Choppers. Paul Sr. and Mike Teutul of Orange County Choppers will be on hand to present the custom-built bike to Speedco.

The Road Hammers, a five-piece band that plays country, Southern rock and blues will also be performing. A drawing for a $2,500 gift card to Best Buy will be held at the event as well.

Passes to the tribute can be obtained by making a $10 donation to the Make-A-Wish Foundation at any Speedco. The passes must be redeemed at the Freedom Hall ticket counter from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., March 20-23.
