Flying J, which owns 173 travel plazas in the U.S., is ready to build its fifth one in Canada.

“Our customers have contacted us on many occasions requesting more Flying J travel plazas in Canada,” Director of Operations Scott McMillan said in a statement.

The new stop will be 15,000 square feet, located on the TransCanada Highway in Headingley, Manitoba, near the provincial capital of Winnipeg.

In completely unrelated news, low temperatures this week in Winnipeg are between 0 and 15 degrees Fahrenheit, which is about average for this time of year.
