Music fans have all the right reasons to take in some concerts at the
Mid-America Trucking Show, March 23 through 25 in Louisville, KY.
Saturday’s headliner is Nickelback, on their first U.S. tour since “All The Right Reasons” went double platinum.
Nickelback, with special guests Chevelle and Trapt perform at 7:30
p.m., Saturday, March 25, at Freedom Hall in the Kentucky Exposition Center. Tickets are available through Ticketmaster. Show management will also select groups of
pre-registered truck show patrons for free concert seats.
Land Line has
already told you about the free George Thorogood performance at Kenworth’s 18th
annual Trucker Appreciation Concert. It is set for 7:30 p.m., Friday, March 24,
at Freedom Hall, with Jason Aldean opening the show. Tickets are free and
available for CDL holders while supplies last, in the South Lobby on March 23
Thursday, March 23 is the Tribute to the American Trucker, featuring
lots of entertainment.
For the first time ever, The Speedco Chopper makes a public appearance,
as do Paul Sr. and Mikey Teutul from Orange County Choppers.
The sponsors, Speedco, Bandag, Baldwin Filters, Rotella T and Goodyear
will make a presentation to the Make-A-Wish Foundation.
The Road Hammers will give a free concert. Tickets are available at the
Freedom Hall ticket officer from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., March 20-23.
Also on Thursday, March 23, Jamey Johnson will play at Fourth Street
Live on Fourth Street between Liberty Street and Muhammed Ali Boulevard in
downtown Louisville. That show starts at 9 p.m. and it’s free.
