The Associated Press reported the project will be done in four phases and will be run by a company formed by four local investors, Tri-City Energy LLC.

The company will crush and process soybeans at the plant.

The project is estimated at approximately $60 million. Construction is expected to begin Sunday, Jan. 8. The plant should be in operation by August, according to The AP.

As many as 62 jobs will be created by the construction of the plant, though only 12 will remain once it is finished.
