Cigarette hauler robbed at knifepoint

Police are looking for leads in the case of a trucker who was robbed at knifepoint at a truck stop in upstate New York.

The Buffalo News reported that the trucker, who was hauling cigarettes, was accosted by two men at Jim’s Truck Stop in Cheektowaga, NY. One man had a knife.

The incident happened at about 8 a.m. on Monday, Dec. 12.

The thieves made off with an unknown number of cases of cigarettes in a dark blue Chevrolet Trail Blazer.
