Toledo man busted for truck stop prostitution ring

A Toledo , OH , man has been indicted by a federal court in connection with a prostitution ring that he allegedly operated in cities and truck stops throughout the East and Midwest .

The Toledo Blade reported that the seven-count indictment was filed against Franklin Robinson, 36, in U.S. District Court in Harrisburg , PA , the week of Nov. 13.

The indictment accused Robinson – who uses the aliases Michael Tucker, Silk and Silky Red – of operating the prostitution ring at truck stops and urban areas in Ohio , Michigan , Indiana , Illinois , Arkansas , Virginia , Georgia , Maryland , Tennessee , Pennsylvania and Washington , DC .

The indictment also charged that Robinson lured underage girls to work for him as prostitutes, and took them across state lines, The Blade reported.

Robinson is currently being held in jail without bond.
