Police believe two individuals were involved in this past weekend’s early morning shooting that took place on Interstate 435 in Kansas City.

According to The Kansas City Star, police have recovered two different types of bullet casings from the roadway near to where the incident occurred, and they believe the different casings indicates there was more than one shooter in the case.

Shots were fired from the Sni-A-Bar overpass at approximately 6 a.m. on Sunday, July 31, according to media reports. The shots hit a minivan multiple times, shattering the windshield. The driver was injured by the shattered glass and treated at a nearby hospital, but has been released, KMBC-TV reported.

The driver of the van said he saw at least one person standing on the overpass. So far, no suspects have been arrested, The Star reported.
