Joe Kelley departs Midnight Trucking Radio Network

| Friday, July 15, 2005

When the midnight-to-five trucker talk show signed off Friday, July 15, it did so with the departure of co-host Joe Kelly.

While details from The Midnight Trucking Radio Network are scarce, Kelley confirmed his departure on his Web site, talkradiojoe.com.

“The long and short of it is that today is my final day of employment as a talk radio host at ABC’s WBAP in Dallas/Ft. Worth,” Kelley wrote on his site’s blog.

“I can’t yet tell you where I’m going or what I’m going to be doing. But I will remain in talk radio on the air, but no longer in DFW.”

Kelley joined the overnight show Sept. 11, 2001, as co-host to Eric Harley. The show can be heard nightly from midnight to 5 a.m. central.
