They’re altogether ooky.

Five members of the Adams family, owners of G&C Farms LLC, in Bridgeport, NE, pleaded guilty March 29 to several criminal violations in the U.S. District Court in Omaha, NE, according to the Department of Transportation’s Office of the Inspector General.

In a case investigated with help from the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration, three members of the family – Connie Adams, co-owner; Brett Adams; and Brian Adams – pleaded guilty to felony charges of conspiracy related to widespread falsification of records, alteration of documents, concealment of drivers’ hours of service and willful falsification of medical certificates and other drivers’ documents.

Two other members of the family – Stacey Adams and Tammy Adams – pleaded guilty to misdemeanor charges related to those violations.

G&C has ceased operations. Sentencing in the case is scheduled for June 16 and 17.
