Exhibit Management Associates Inc. is reporting that the 2005 Mid-America Trucking Show was the largest MATS on record, based on square footage of exhibit space. The show was recently held at the Kentucky Fair & Exposition Center in Louisville and claims to have brought 76,000 people to Kentucky.

The 1,080 exhibiting companies from 46 states and 11 foreign countries created an atmosphere that can be found only at MATS.

The three show days allowed the attendees plenty of time to enjoy all of the various indoor and outdoor show highlights including: The Paul K. Young Memorial Truck Beauty Championship, Mid-America’s Big-Rig Build-Off, The Expedite InfoCenter, The Mid-America Recruitment Center and Mid-America’s Internet and Technology Center to name a few. Celebrities, including Chubby Checker, Patty Loveless, Mark Chestnut and Cheerleaders from the Tennessee Titans and the Dallas Cowboys, entertained the masses.

Also making appearances to the delight of MATS attendees were Ken Schrader, Michael Waltrip, Kyle and Richard Petty, and many more.

Notice of the official opening of 2006 exhibit space reservations will kick off Aug. 15. Space is historically at a premium and has traditionally sold out year after year, so it is imperative for exhibitors to make reservations as soon as possible. Make your plans now to attend the 35th Annual Mid-America Trucking Show, March 23-25, 2006, at the Kentucky Fair and Exposition Center, in Louisville, KY.
