| Friday, March 04, 2005

Sue Lynch, an alternate member of the OOIDA Board of Directors, will be featured Friday morning, March 4, on the Home & Garden Television network.

An avid quilter, Lynch is scheduled to be featured along with her handiwork at 7: 30 a.m. CST on the program “Simply Quilts.” The segment on Lynch is expected to be aired at the beginning of the program.

On the network’s Web site, Lynch is described as “a traveling, quilting truck driver.” The program description goes on to say that “Sue finds inspiration for her quilts in towns, cities and stops along the driving route. While her husband drives, Sue finds time to quilt in a makeshift studio in the back of her truck.”

The program is also scheduled to include a segment on quilt author Beth Ann Williams, who will share her geometric patterns inspired by travels to Africa.
