NH police working on new leads in missing truck case

Chief Gregory Dodge of the Epping, NH, Police Department said his department is investigating new leads and making progress on a missing tanker that disappeared the weekend of Nov. 13-14.

According to Exeter News-Letter, Dodge could not be specific, but said he is “looking forward to closing the case.”

Owned by Buxton Oil, the tanker truck is a yellow 2004 Kenworth fuel tanker with the license plate AE7537. It was loaded with 3,000 gallons of home-heating oil when it disappeared. With a full load, the truck is reportedly worth from $110,000 to $115,000. A $5,000 reward is being offered for an arrest and conviction leading to information about the truck’s whereabouts.
