Are anti-icing chemicals affecting you and your truck?

| Friday, September 17, 2004

The OOIDA Foundation is conducting a survey to gather data about the effects of anti-icing chemicals on owner-operators and their equipment.

The 21-question survey specifically touches on corrosion of equipment and whether truckers or their mechanics ever have respiratory or skin problems after coming into contact with road-clearing chemicals.

All responses will be kept confidential, and the deadline for participating in the survey is Sept. 30.

If you would like to help the OOIDA Foundation by participating in the survey, visit the OOIDA Web site at www.ooida.com and go to the section marked “Swimming With Sharks.” If you click on the corrosion survey description, the Web site will take you to the survey, which you may print out.
