Massachusetts state police are asking the public's help to determine whether bullets were fired into two vehicles on Interstate 91 in Longmeadow, MA, April 27, according to The Boston Herald.

Sgt. David Paine said windows on a tractor-trailer and a passenger vehicle were shattered on the northbound side of the highway 2.3 miles from the Connecticut border about 8:35 a.m.

Investigators have not ruled out the possibility the windows were broken by rocks or projectiles from a pellet gun.

Paine said anyone with information about the incident is asked to call state police in Springfield at (413) 747-4810 or Longmeadow Police at (413) 567-3311.
