ATHS hosts Truckin' for Kids Show & Shine

The American Truck Historical Society’s 25th National Show May 27-29 at California Speedway in Fontana, CA, will host a special Truckin’ for Kids Show & Shine.

The Parade of Lights takes place at sundown Friday, May 28, with trophies going to the winner and runner-up in bobtail, combination and antique classes. The Show & Shine will be held May 29. More than 1,000 antique trucks are expected along with 200 to 300 working show trucks.

Spectator admission is free. There will be lots of vendors, new truck and equipment displays, food and entertainment. The proceeds from the Truckin’ for Kids Show & Shine will benefit various children’s charities.

The Truckin’ for Kids Show & Shine is in addition to the Truckin’ for Kids Truck Drags and Show & Shine, scheduled for Oct. 16-17. The annual children’s charity event has a new home this year at Famosa Raceway in Bakersfield, CA.
