Yellow-Roadway to open more terminals

| 1/19/2004

The new combined Yellow-Roadway will open terminals in a number of towns nationwide that were not cost-effective for the two companies to operate in before, the CEO of the company told The Kansas City Business Journal.

Bill Zollars told the newspaper that the combined company hauls enough loads to some of the cities to justify the cost of a terminal.

The company now has 745 terminals; Zollars did not say where the new terminals would be located, or how many the company would open.
