Expedite Expo 2003 under way

| Thursday, August 14, 2003

Expedite Expo 2003 is under way at the Detroiter Truck Stop in Woodhaven, MI. The event runs through Aug. 14.

For the third year, Expediters Online has teamed up with Freightliner of Knoxville to organize the event, the expedited freight industry's trade show. Admission is free.

The expediting truck beauty show, one of the premier attractions of last year's Expedite Expo, returns this year with expedited freight cargo vans and straight trucks competing for cash, trophies and prizes.

The expo is designed specifically for current or prospective expediting owner-operators, fleet owners and drivers. Recruiters will be available to answer questions and provide information on what their companies offer.

Expedite Expo 2003 also will feature a wide range of truck dealers, aftermarket suppliers and vendors displaying their goods and services.

Again this year, the featured speaker will be Ellen Voie, executive director of Trucker Buddy International. Eric Harley of the Midnight Trucking Radio Show and Dave Nemo of the Dave Nemo Radio Network will make appearances at the show, greeting fans, answering questions and getting to know the professional drivers of the expediting industry.
