California’s Terminal Stations truckstop may close

The Terminal Stations truckstop, which sits at the Suisun Valley Road exit on Interstate 80 between Sacramento and San Francisco, CA, could soon be a part of history.

The Fairfield Daily Republic reported that if a real estate transaction goes through in November, the truckstop will be closed and torn down to make way for a retail development and interchange expansion.

The newspaper described the facility as run-down. Jason's Coffee Shop, an eatery that was part of Terminal Stations, has already closed.

Terminal Stations is the last truckstop in Solano County, the newspaper said, and truck parking in the area is reported to be tight to non-existent.
