officials are considering setting up a 5-1-1 telephone line that
would alert drivers of road work, closings, delays, weather problems
or other factors that would slow traffic, The Associated Press reported June 30.
state has commissioned a study by the University of Alabama on how
the system would be set up, and has looked at successes in other
