property and take out bonds to fund new toll roads in the southwest
part of the state, is now before several committees in the Legislature.
Rep. Mike Davis, R-Naples, introduced the bill in February. According
to a spokesman with his office, the bill is now in the Transportation
Systems Committee. It has been referred to four committees and two
subcommittees, but will not likely be voted on in all of them.
