Trucking couple publish state-to-state trucking guide

| Tuesday, February 04, 2003

Owner-operators Don and Debbe Morrow have put together a state-to-state guide for professional drivers. The Morrows, OOIDA members from Eau Claire, WI, haul freight all over the country, so they know firsthand how laws differ from state to state. They simply have pulled together all the state-to-state information to create "For the Long Haul: A State to State Guide for Professional Drivers."

This book is jam-packed with a wealth of information that truckers need when crossing state lines. It's hard to believe Don and Debbe fit it all on 92 pages, but it's all there in 12 maps and detailed text sections on each state - speed limits, road classifications, truck routes, length, width and weight limits, trip permit requirements, chain laws, spring thaw restrictions and states with kingpin to rear axle requirements.

Sandi Soendker, managing editor of Land Line, recommends the book as "a valuable tool for truckers." "For the Long Haul" sells for $14.95. Ask for the book at truckstops, or visit www.dondepublishing.com.
