Expediters Online.com, the host of Expedite Expo 2002, says the response to their Aug. 15-16 event at the Detroiter Truck Stop in Woodhaven, MI, exceeded all expectations with attendance and the number of exhibitors reaching new levels.

One of the big draws at this year's expo was Land Line's technical editor Paul Abelson, who presented two seminars - "Maintenance Intervals" and "Spec' ing the Expediting Straight Truck." Land Line columnists Jeff McConnell and James Mennella, of Road Law, answered some frequently asked legal questions in their seminar "Tickets, Accidents & Suspension." OOIDA Board Member Woody Chambers and wife Paula were there too. They visited with and signed up members at the OOIDA truck.

Lawrence McCord, senior administrator of Expediters Online.com, says the show was an opportunity for owner-operators in expediting to gather information about their business, see new products and take in the show's features at a leisurely pace.
