Peterbilt surveying impact of new engines on consumers

| Friday, June 28, 2002

Peterbilt Motors Company has added an online survey to its website to help learn customer expectations regarding the EPA mandated 2002 engine emissions and their potential impact on the trucking industry.

The survey includes 12 questions. It explores such topics as engine acceleration, will this mandate delay the decision to purchase a new truck, how the pre-owned market will be affected and how you think the engines will affect weight, durability and cost.

To take the survey, visit www.peterbilt.com and click on the engine survey banner ad in the lower right portion of the web site. Peterbilt is offering a keychain to all North American survey respondents.
