Trucker Buddy International, a nonprofit organization that matches professional drivers who correspond with elementary classrooms, announced it has added Transcore and Ramp Publishing as Platinum Level Sponsors.

"We are pleased to be able to participate in such a worthwhile youth-oriented program," said Transcore spokesperson Kate Peal. Transcore assists small- and medium-size carriers and intermediaries manage and automate their business processes in freight matching, freight exchange and operations management. Drivers looking for loads on one of 1,200 DAT Load and Information Monitors located nationwide will see a full-page ad promoting Trucker Buddy.

Ramp Publishing (Over the Road and ProTrucker magazines) will promote the program by including full page articles in both magazines. "I think Trucker Buddy presents one of the most positive, non-controversial images going today for America's truckers and the general public," said Marvin Shefsky, publisher and owner of Ramp Publishing.

Trucker Buddy is supported solely by donations from sponsors, such as Platinum level sponsors DCSTrucks.com, Transcore and Ramp Publishing, Gold Level contributors; OOIDA, Delphi, the Midnight Cowboy Radio Network and Silver Level donors; ArvinMeritor, J.J.
