Clements to lead XM's trucking effort

XM Satellite Radio has appointed Gloria Clements as director, truck fleets. With more than 10 years of experience in the trucking industry, Clements will be responsible for cultivating XM's relationships with fleets and owner-operators.

Clements is known within trucking circles as the president of "Super Driver," an audio magazine for truckdrivers. Prior to joining XM, Clements was director of new sales for the Comdata Corp. where she was responsible for generating new business sales in the western United States. In her 10 years with Comdata, she was responsible for managing relationships with key transportation and trucking companies -- J.B.Hunt, FedEx, Swift Transportation and UPS. Clements received Comdata's outstanding service award for overall excellence in job performance and was a member of Comdata's President's Club for meeting sales targets within her region for eight consecutive years.

XM Radio, winner of the Truck Writers of North America's Technical Achievement Award, features 100 coast-to-coast digital channels; 71 music channels, more than 30 of them commercial-free, from hip hop to opera, classical to country, bluegrass to blues; and 29 channels of sports, talk, children's and entertainment.
