FBI Alert: Mexican truck loaded with cyanide stolen

Three unidentified gunmen on Highway 85 north of Mexico City, Mexico May 12 hijacked a truck containing one hundred 55-gallon barrels of cyanide, the FBI reported.

There is no current information as to who committed the crime, where the truck and cargo are, or where the cargo may be destined, officials said. The FBI is asking all transportation companies to notify their drivers of the unit's description.

The tractor is described as a white 2002 Kenworth displaying Mexico tag 980CZ6, VIN: 3BKNK28XX2F3D1175, and owned by the Liatsa Co. If any information is developed regarding this vehicle, you are asked to contact the local police or Special Agent Jim Woodie of the FBI at 501-229-8445.
