National Moment of Remembrance planned 3 p.m., May 27

| Friday, May 10, 2002

One nation, one moment. The National Moment of Remembrance on Memorial Day is an effort established by Congress to remind Americans of the sacrifices made by those who died in service to our nation.

President Bush and Congress strongly support the National Moment of Remembrance and encourage all Americans to participate in this very meaningful act of nationally unity. The goal is for Americans everywhere to pause for one minute on Monday, May 27, at 3 p.m. in silent reflection to honor America's fallen.
