IMMI introduces sliding Komfort Latch

Komfort Latch is the commercial vehicle seat belt that can be found of 90 percent of class 8 vehicles in North America. The makers of the original yellow Komfort Latch announced Wednesday at MATS an updated version is now available. Indiana-based IMMI announces the Sliding Komfort Latch, designed for the ultimate in comfort for commercial drivers while wearing seat belts.

As its predecessor did, the new Sliding Komfort Latch attaches to seat belt webbing to relieve unintentional belt lock-ups resulting from the constant up-and-down movement of suspension seats. The new version was designed based on feedback from drivers using the original Komfort Latch who wanted greater freedom of movement in various directions, such as when reaching for the radio. The Sliding Komfort Latch accommodates such movements without requiring resetting.

The Sliding Komfort Latch is available with several different mounts that may be adapted to most all commercial vehicles. This improvement, too, is based on customer feedback, says IMMI.
