Sirius Radio hits digital airwaves

Sirius Satellite Radio launched service Feb. 14 in Denver, Houston, Jackson, MS, and Phoenix. The satellite radio network boasts offering a whole new form of digital entertainment broadcast live coast-to-coast to your truck or car with crystal clear reception and incredible digital sound.

Sirius Radio broadcasts 60 commercial-free music channels from classic rock legends to the latest top-20 hits. Forty channels of sports, news and entertainment including up-to-the minute news and live event coverage to classic shows from the golden age of radio also are available. Subscriptions cost $12.95 per month.

In the spring, Sirius plans to be available in Dallas/Fort Worth, Tulsa, OK, Albuquerque, NM, and Little Rock, AR. The network expects its service to be available nationwide by Aug. 1.
