ATD/NADA have added
values for rollback, flatbed and van bodies, a revised warranty value page
and expanded reconditioning options to their Official Commercial Truck Guide.
"It's crucial that
our values reflect the market, particularly given the current climate,"
said commercial truck manager Chris Visser in a released statement. "These
new additions help to level the playing field by providing our subscribers
with a standardized set of values for these important items."
Initially, body options
will apply to the medium duty section. NADA's Commercial Truck Team is reviewing
additional body types, as well as heavy duty bodies, for inclusion in a future
edition. The new warranty page expands its coverage to include most popular
used truck warranties, as well as variations within each warranty. The new
reconditioning options include "New Interior Package," "New/Remanufactured
Clutch" and "4 New Batteries."
NADA annually distributes
more than 7 million of its guides to consumers and industry specialists.
