FedEx Custom Critical's White Glove Services division, which specializes in shipments that require special care in handling, is delivering the staging materials and equipment for the Super Bowl XXXVI halftime show. The shipments began Jan. 15, requiring six tractor-trailers to transport the freight from Camarillo, CA, to the staging area in New Orleans. The freight will then be shuttled via three flatbed trucks to the Superdome before Sunday's game.

The shipments, with an estimated total weight of 50,000 pounds, include a stage, staging materials, framing and lighting equipment. The 4,000-square-foot stage will be constructed on the playing field in less than four minutes.
