Pilot Corp. That company, which is based in Knoxville, TN, announced
Oct. 30 that it would purchase 60 retail travel centers from Williams,
a subsidiary of Tulsa, OK, energy firm Williams Co., in a $190 million
stretch across 15 states, including locations from Arizona to Florida
concentrated in the Ohio Valley and the southeastern United States.
A few of the
workers at Williams' headquarters may receive job offers from Pilot,
the newspaper reported.
