TRACER ALERT: Stolen tractor-trailer sought in Chicago

OOIDA’s TRACER website reports the theft of a tractor-trailer combo in suburban Chicago.

The 2000 Freightliner Classic XL tractor and a 1999 Great Dane 53-foot van trailer were reported stolen on June 16 from an unspecified location in the Chicago Heights area. The truck is white with blue trim, and has “JDA Transport Technicians, Sierra, NV” in chrome letters on both sides of the truck. The trailer is white.

TRACER lists an Illinois license plate of P729711 and a VIN of 1FUPCSZB6YLG14630 for the truck, and an unknown Illinois plate and VIN of 1GRAA0627XW024920 for the trailer.

A $500 reward is being offered for information leading to the recovery of this item. Call 202-246-2698.
