A full slate of free seminars will be offered at the Mid-American Trucking Show in Louisville, Ky., next week. A total of 17 seminars packed full of valuable information are scheduled Thursday, March 26 to Saturday, March 28, in the South Wing Conference Center Room B-104 of the Kentucky Expo Center.
Chevron Delo is among the exhibitors that will present seminars. Chevron Delo will host Understanding the Upcoming PC-11 Regulations on Thursday, 10-11 a.m. Thermo King will be talking food safety 2-3 p.m. on Thursday.
From 1:45 to 2:45 p.m. on Friday, Kinedyne will present cargo securement regulation training, and from 3:00 to 4 p.m. on Friday, FMCSA will host a seminar on haz mat and cargo tanks.
Trucking professionals attending MATS may want to swing by the hourlong Trucking Moves America Forward, or TMAF, seminar from 11:15 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. on Friday, March 27.
The Owner-Operator Independent Drivers Association is a member of TMAF. The seminar will be an interactive educational session to learn more about TMAF and the importance of getting involved. According to a news release about the upcoming event, leaders from the executive committee and professional truck drivers will demonstrate in detail about the need for the movement and will explain why “sharing your personal story is critical to strengthening the industry and to improve its image.”
In addition to a number of other seminars on the schedule, on Saturday CARB will be there 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. to talk about compliance with its Heavy Duty Diesel Vehicle Regulations.
All seminars are free, and advanced registration is not required.
