With the Mid-America Trucking Show less than two months away, the concert lineup has been announced. Headlining the night’s festivities will be the ’70s Southern rockers – The Marshall Tucker Band.
With a fusion of rock, R&B, jazz, country and gospel, The Marshall Tucker band has earned seven gold and three platinum albums.
Presented by Mobil Delvac, the band will be performing on Friday, March 27, in Freedom Hall at the Kentucky Exposition Center.
Singer, songwriter and country/rock/blues musician Chris Hennessee will open. The music begins at Freedom Hall promptly after the conclusion of Friday’s regular MATS schedule. Hennessee has performed on tour with The Jamey Johnson Band.
Attendance is free, but concertgoers will need a ticket to get in. Complimentary tickets will be given away at the Mobil Delvac Booth No. 18160 in the North Wing during scheduled MATS show hours.
