Canadian trucker injured by water balloon

Whoever threw a water balloon from a car in Canada on Saturday probably thought it was a pretty funny joke.

But for the trucker hauling fuel on Highway 10 near Yorkton in Saskatchewan, it meant a trip to the hospital after his hands were cut by shards of broken windshield glass.

According to the Edmonton Sun, police say they’ve had several recent cases of water balloons being thrown at vehicles – including one last week on Highway 660 in which the windshield on a highway grader was broken.
