New Jersey Gov. John Corzine intended to return to work at the governor’s mansion Monday, May 7, less than a month after he broke 14 bones, including his leg, in a crash.
According to The Associated Press, Corzine plans to balance his work with his rehabilitation schedule.
Last week, Corzine voluntarily paid a fine for not wearing his seatbelt at the time of the crash.
And, while the state trooper who was driving the SUV the governor was riding in faces criticism for reportedly doing 91 mph, the governor praises him and another trooper for shielding him from a fire that broke out after the wreck, The AP reported.
