A federal jury has awarded a former truck driver $95,000 in a sexual harassment lawsuit against New Prime Inc., The Kansas City Star reported.

The woman, Cynthia Huffman, charged that her trainer had sexually harassed her and held her against her will.

However, the jury ruled against sexual harassment claims by two other trainees.

Lynn Bruner, district director of the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission in Springfield, MO, where New Prime is based, told The Star the agency might appeal those two verdicts.

According to the newspaper, a lawyer for New Prime contended the award was a compromise verdict reached because most of the jurors disbelieved her.
