Three
Illinois lawmakers say they plan to introduce a bill to allow
photo radar in construction zones, The Daily Herald reported.
Rep.
Paul Froehlich, R-Schaumburg, Sen. John Cullerton, D-Chicago,
and Rep. John Millner, R-Carol Stream, announced their plans to
introduce the bill after a construction crew flagger was killed
by a passing car in the Chicago suburbs.
Froehlich
told the newspaper he expected the cost of the cameras to be paid
for by fines generated by speeders they catch.
