OOIDA’s TRACER program is asking for truckers’ help to find a truck driver who went missing two weeks ago in Colorado.
Dale Schroeder – a 46-year-old white male with blond hair – was last seen in Brighton, CO, on Thursday, Oct. 1. Schroeder was driving a 1987 Maroon Peterbilt truck with Arizona license plate AB 38090.
The words “P.A. Moore Trucking” are painted on both truck doors. The truck was pulling a flatbed trailer.
TRACER, the Transportation Alert Communication and Emergency Response program, was launched in the spring by OOIDA. The program is a two-way communication system that both sends alerts to members and coordinates information received from trucking members.
Members can sign up to receive text messages and e-mail alerts for truck thefts and missing persons, and they can also use the system to report their own stolen property.
Truckers may call the TRACER hotline at 866-950-2291 or visit www.tracersystem.us to get the latest advisory or to report information about stolen cargo or missing persons, etc.
