Monday, July 12, 2010 – Posted at 12:20 p.m. CST – Police in Pennsylvania are looking for a stolen truck and trailer and want to spread the word to professional truckers who might see the missing equipment.
Police say a thief or thieves stole a red 2005 Kenworth T600 while it was parked at the Best Value Inn in Carlisle, PA. The Kenworth has “Five Rivers” and “789” painted on its doors and sports a Pennsylvania license plate AF70049.
Also stolen with the tractor was an empty white 2002 Trailmobile trailer with “Jagmin” and “trailer 5345” markings. The trailer has a Pennsylvania license plate XFR0756.
The truck’s vehicle identification number is 1XKAD49XX5R101263. The trailer’s VIN is 1PT01JAH126002735.
TRACER, the Transportation Alert Communication and Emergency Response program, was launched early in 2009 by OOIDA. The program is a two-way communication system that both sends alerts to members and coordinates information received from trucking members.
