OOIDA has received numerous complaints from drivers being placed out-of-service in Minnesota for fatigue even though they were fully rested and in compliance with the hours-of-service regulations. Commercial vehicle enforcement officers have been sidelining drivers for 10 consecutive hours after an interrogation based largely upon a fatigue checklist developed by the Minnesota State Patrol.
