Cookies and log files
Non-personal information is automatically collected through the standard
operation of our Internet server. Our server collects non-personal information
using session cookies. Cookies don’t reveal personal information
about you. A session cookie is a line of text that is stored temporarily
in your computer's memory and not written to your computer's hard drive.
Because this type of cookie is not written to your computer's hard drive,
it is destroyed as soon as you close your browser.
A session cookie makes it possible for you to access different areas
of our web site without re-registering or re-entering your password.
The help function on most browsers contains information on how to set
your browser to notify you before accepting a cookie or to disable cookies
entirely. However, if you don't accept cookies, some pages on our site
won't display properly or you may receive error messages.
Log files also are used to collect non-personal information such as
the date and time of your visit to the web site, your IP address and
your browser type. This non-personal information allows us to track
traffic patterns and trends or to identify technical problems with our
site.
