OOIDA’s official publication Land Line Magazine was recently recognized by the Truck Writers of North America with the Best of 2011 award.
The winning entry was the March/April 2011 issue of Land Line Magazine, which also won gold in the Best Single Issue division award and a gold at the category level.
The March/April 2011 issue centers on a critical legal victory that ensured the Fourth Amendment rights of truckers could not be violated by a rogue fatigue enforcement program in Minnesota. The issue further details the fight for truckers rights, covering everything from detention time issues to what the president sees for the future in transportation. It also featured Land Line’s usual blend of in-depth investigations, equipment know-how and expert advice on everything from legal issues to how to make the most of every paycheck.
The Best of 2011 award was presented at the group’s annual banquet and awards presentation held in conjunction with the Mid-America Trucking Show.
Many members of the Land Line team were also recognized for their individual work as well.
