Haul of Famer

By Suzanne Stempinski, field editor

Jerry Kissinger is no stranger to the trucking community. He grew up in a trucking family, and his 1991 Mack Superliner is a familiar sight both on the road and at truck shows. Big on safety and strong in his loyalties, he’s always used Shell Rotella oil in his trucks.

With more than a million miles of safe driving, Shell Rotella chose Kissinger, an OOIDA member, to be the inaugural member of the Shell Rotella Haul of Fame. Kissinger has more than 1 million miles on his truck, all while using Shell Rotella T heavy-duty oil in his engine.

Shell Rotella Million Mile Haul of Fame inductees must meet certain eligibility requirements, including proof that they have driven their vehicle for at least one million miles using only Shell Rotella heavy-duty engine oil since at least the 250,000-mile mark. Additionally, their million-mile engine must retain its original pistons, liners and rings.

Kissinger wows the crowds with his distinctive burnt-orange, square-nosed Mack and Great Dane reefer trailer. In addition to being recognized by Shell Rotella, Kissinger was awarded four trophies at the Paul K. Young Memorial Truck Beauty Championship awards. Sounds like a winner all the way around. LL
