Truckers are rollin’ to benefit Special Olympics

This fall, more than 40 states and provinces are involved with the World’s Largest Truck Convoy, which raises money for Special Olympics. Several states’ convoys are planned for October.

Ontario truckers convoyed on Sept. 10; the Missouri-Kansas convoy, rolled on Sept. 11. In South Dakota, the convoy paraded through Rapid City on Sept. 17.

On Oct. 8, the Delaware leg of The World’s Largest Truck Convoy will meet at Dover International Speedway. For specific information, call (302) 831-4653, e-mail sode@sode.org or visit sode.org to download a registration packet.

Florida Special Olympics has set Oct. 15 for its big convoy. This year trucks are staging at the USA International Speedway in Lakeland. Contact Cpl.
