Free air gauges from Bridgestone and TRIB
To encourage truckers to regularly monitor air pressure, Bridgestone and Tire Retread Information Bureau (TRIB) are offering “Open Road Café” listeners a free, heavy-duty-dual-head tire gauge that sells for up to $20 at truck stops and a Retread Tire Information Packet. Harvey Brodsky, managing director of TRIB, joins host Mark Willis on the “Open Road Café” radio program and discusses tire maintenance, the benefits of properly maintained tires and answers questions on retreading and the tire repair industry. Truckers simply call into the radio program’s toll-free number to receive the free gauge. The “Open Road Café” can be heard at 10:30 a.m. EST and 7:30 a.m. PST every Wednesday on Sirius Satellite Radio, channel 131.
