OOIDA member Harold Harley Roberts 1999 Kenworth W900L memorializes Dale Earnhardt with a memorial sign dedicated to the racing legend killed in an accident during the final lap of NASCARs Daytona 500 Feb. 18 at the Daytona International Speedway.
Harley and his truck work hard, hauling doubles back and forth between Kansas City, MO, and Reno, NV, for Kennedy Simmons Inc. The power to haul double loads comes from a 475-horsepower Caterpillar engine and a 10-speed Eaton Fuller transmission.
Harley uses Delo 400 oil because its recommended for his Caterpillar engine, which has racked up 577,000 miles. He drains his oil and does his PMs every 15,000-18,000 miles at a Petro, TA, Speedco, or his favorite place, that place beside the Flying J in Cheyenne, WY. He has his oil analyzed at Speedco with every second or third oil change.
Harley, who lives in Stevenson, AL, has been driving for 11 years.
